The next Inter-Area Indoor Track and Field Challenge match against Wales, Scotland and the regions of England is scheduled for Sunday 14th March 2027 at the Sheffield English Institute of Sport arena.
We are hoping to send a Northern Ireland team. This is a team event where everybody who competes will score points. Therefore, we encourage athletes and members of all abilities to apply, so we can fill as many events and age groups as possible.
Age Groups (35-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+)
Track
60m, 60m hurdles, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 2000m walk, 4x200m relay
Field
Long Jump, Pole Vault, Shot Put, High Jump, Triple Jump
There are three airports (Leeds / Bradford, Manchester and East Midlands all about 35 miles from the venue. So once the timetable is announced we can clarify which works best. But given the number of daily flights from Belfast, It might be feasible to fly in early morning and return early evening.
If you are interested in being part of the Northern Ireland team, please email Anne Maguire (nimaa.memsec@gmail.com) listing your preferred events.
